Hope Beyond the Grave

1 Thess.4:13,14 (Hebrew/English Bible)
"But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren concerning those who have fallen asleep. Lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.”

These verses speak about hope beyond the grave – a favourite text often used for Christian burials. Charles Swindoll wrote:
“Death bring sorrow, sorrow brings tears, which are part of the grieving process. God never said we shouldn’t cry or grieve. He said we shouldn’t grieve like those who have no hope. We have the answer beyond the grave, and that’s what gives our ultimate comfort.”
That’s the comfort we too have ~ Na’il is safe now, in God’s loving arms.
The best place to be, released from the prison of his handicapped body, freed from the daily struggles to live and the emotional pain he began to experience of being endowed with features that often shocked outsiders.
